This Privacy Policy describes how VidOpt LLC (“VidOpt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you visit vidopt.com, use our publisher tools at publisher.vidopt.com, or interact with any of our services or affiliated brands (including ArabCast). By using our services you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide directly
- Account information: name, email address, password (stored hashed), and, where applicable, business name and tax ID.
- Contact information: mobile phone number, mailing address.
- Payment information: we use third‑party processors (e.g. Stripe, PayPal). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Communications: messages you send us via email, contact forms, or SMS reply.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device, browser, and operating‑system identifiers.
- IP address, approximate location, and pages viewed.
- Cookies and similar technologies for analytics (Matomo, self‑hosted) and core functionality.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve our services.
- To process payments and provide receipts.
- To send transactional messages (account, billing, security, service alerts).
- To send marketing and promotional messages where you have given consent. You can opt out at any time.
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. SMS / text message communications
3.1 What you may receive
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send:
- Account & service alerts — sign‑in confirmations, billing receipts, subscription expiry, and policy updates.
- Re‑engagement / reactivation offers — reminders that your subscription has lapsed and offers to reactivate.
- Marketing — promotional content where you have separately consented.
3.2 Frequency, cost & consent
- Message frequency varies; you will not receive more than approximately 4 messages per month per category unless you specifically opt‑in to a higher cadence.
- Message and data rates may apply, charged by your wireless carrier.
- Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of any purchase.
3.3 Opt‑out and help
- Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You may also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT.

4. How we share information
We share personal information only as needed to operate our service:
- Service providers — payment processors, email/SMS gateways (Twilio), analytics, and infrastructure providers, under written contracts that limit use to providing services to us.
- Legal & safety — when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you where required.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your mobile phone number or SMS opt‑in data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
5. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, to comply with legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).
6. Security
We use industry‑standard technical and organizational measures including TLS in transit, hashed passwords, scoped database credentials, and access logging. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location you may have the right to access, correct, port, restrict, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@vidopt.com. We will respond within 30 days.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain “sharing” of personal information.
8. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact privacy@vidopt.com and we will delete it.
9. International transfers
We are based in the United States. If you access our services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where required, by email or in‑app notice. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
